Tulsa Federal Credit Union offers two forms of Overdraft Protection: Courtesy Pay and NuPal
Courtesy Pay Service – Courtesy Pay is a discretionary overdraft service for qualifying checking accounts in good standing. You may opt-out of the Courtesy Pay service any time by notifying us. If your checking account qualifies for Courtesy Pay, we will consider, without obligation on our part, paying items for which your account has insufficient or unavailable funds, instead of automatically returning those items unpaid. However, we will not include ATM and everyday debit card transactions within our Courtesy Pay Service without first receiving your affirmative consent to do so. Absent your affirmative consent, ATM and everyday debit card transactions generally will not be paid under Courtesy Pay. Pre-Approved Overdraft Line of Credit – The NuPal is a line of credit for which you must apply and be approved. The NuPal is used as an overdraft protection plan on your checking account and may also be used as a line of credit up to your pre-approved limit. If you have been approved for the NuPal, we may honor transactions on your checking account drawn on insufficient funds, up to your approved credit limit, by transferring the amount needed to pay the transaction from your NuPal to your checking account and clearing the item.
