Face Covering and Social Distancing Ordinance in Effect

All Tulsa FCU branches will be abiding by the City of Tulsa’s Face Covering and Social Distancing Ordinance. While following ordinance guidelines, members may still visit the drive-thru teller window without a mask at available branches or take advantage of our contactless banking options.

Confirmed COVID-19 Case Affects Two Branches

Due to a confirmed positive COVID-19 case, Our Jenks branch, 3017 West Main Street, Jenks, OK  74037, has temporarily closed its lobby and is serving from the drive-thru only. Our Sapulpa Reasor’s branch, 132 West Taft Avenue, Sapulpa, OK 74066, is closed until further notice. 

The branches have been professionally cleaned and sanitized. Exposed branch employees will be self-quarantined per the Tulsa Health Department guidelines while awaiting test results.

The health and safety of our employees and members are our top priority. We will continue to follow CDC guidelines on social distancing and hygiene practices at all of our branch locations. Thank you for your continued understanding and support.

Branch Lobbies to Reopen June 8th, 2020

In recent weeks, Tulsa FCU has continued to serve our members via drive-thru, digital banking, and in person by appointment. But starting June 8, our branch lobbies will reopen to the public with modified hours.

We’re putting the health and safety of our employees and members first in this process by implementing new procedures and guidelines which will take effect June 8th, 2020, at all freestanding branch locations.

Protection & Sanitation

  • Branch staff will be required to wear face masks to help protect employees and members.
  • Visitors to branches are encouraged to wear a mask, however full face coverings will not be permitted to ensure that security requirements are met.
  • Sanitation stations have been added to each branch entryway and teller area for employee and member use.
  • ATMs, ITMs, Drive-Thru, and Lobbies are being sanitized every hour.
  • Acrylic guards have been installed at each teller window.
  • Floor markers and waiting areas have been spaced 6ft apart to help members practice social distancing.
  • To reduce the risk of community spread, we encourage you to use contactless banking options if you’ve been exposed to, are sick with, or are caring for someone with COVID-19.

Changes to Branch Procedures

Branch lobbies will limit the number of members allowed into each branch. Maximums will be posted and branch staff will monitor to ensure safety.
Branch restrooms will be closed to the public during this phase.

Changes to Branch Hours

NOTE: Individual branches will have detailed hours displayed on the locations page staring June 8, but for simplicity the listing below shows the updated operating hours common to all freestanding branches except the Downtown branch, which opens at 8:30 a.m. and is closed on Saturdays:

  • Lobby hours: 9 a.m. – 3 p.m., Monday to Friday
  • Drive-thru hours: 8 a.m. – 5:30 p.m., Monday to Thursday. 8 a.m. – 6 p.m., Friday. 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m., Saturday.
  • Appointments: Set appointments at any standalone branch any time between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m., Monday to Friday. Appointments are designed to help members with their financial needs while providing a carefully planned way to minimize contact in the branch that accommodates the member’s schedule.
  • Reasor’s in-store locations will still have an accessible ATM or ITM but will not be staffed during this phase because we cannot control the flow of traffic in the area to adequately limit exposure.

Looking Forward

Our executive team will be monitoring the situation closely and following the advice from state and local officials to ensure we are properly implementing CDC guidelines and safety measures for our employees and members. Procedures will be evaluated on a weekly basis and the progression into the next phase will be determined accordingly.

The CDC recently updated its guidance on the spread of COVID-19 to note that transmission “from touching surfaces or objects … is not thought to be the main way the virus spreads…” Tulsa FCU will continue to take safety precautions and maintain existing procedures at all branch locations.

**Updated 5/3/20 at 12:00 p.m.**

As you know, Oklahoma’s Safer-at-Home restrictions are being lifted as part of a three-phase plan to re-open business activities in our state. In keeping with these changes, our leadership at Tulsa Federal Credit Union is implementing a phased plan of our own to resume normal business operations. This plan includes updated procedures, equipment, and guidelines to help protect the health and safety of our members and employees as we prepare for the day that we open the doors to our branch lobbies.

Today, our branches continue serving all our member’s needs at our drive-thru teller windows. We also offer a variety of contactless banking options, such as ITMs & ATMs, our Member CARE Call Center (918.610.0200), and Online & Mobile Banking. A new appointments portal has also been added to our website homepage, allowing members to schedule branch visits in advance, limiting person-to-person contact and saving time.

Our executive team continues to follow advice from state and local officials while closely monitoring the data available to determine the right time to resume normal lobby hours.

Long Drive-Thru Wait Times and Delays Expected This Weekend (5/1-5/2)

As a reminder, May 1st is expected to be one of the busiest days for Tulsa FCU as it is a payday and also the day monthly government checks are received. To avoid lengthy wait times, please consider using our contactless services to complete your transaction.

  • Deposit your check using the Check Deposit tab on the Tulsa FCU Mobile Banking App.*
  • Withdraw cash at one of our fee-free ATMs. Find an ATM near you.
  • Make loan payments, check balances, or transfer funds in Online Banking.
  • If you do not need immediate assistance this weekend, please consider delaying your visit until the middle of next week.

As you may know, the Mayor of Tulsa has ordered all restaurant dining areas and bars to close temporarily because limiting person-to-person contact is one of the best ways to minimize the impact of the coronavirus on our community.

Out of an abundance of caution, we are introducing temporary changes effective tonight, March 17, 2020.

Access to branch lobbies is closed except for essential banking services. To visit a branch, click here to schedule an appointment. We have also expanded drive-thru services during this time. We believe these measures will allow us to continue providing you with the same great service while focusing on contactless banking options.

More Services Available at Drive-Thru

We are making most all branch services available at the Drive-Thru to help members and employees practice social distancing. Our staff will work to accommodate your needs and ensure that you receive the same great service through the window that you would in a branch. Some of our branch locations have an Interactive Teller Machine (ITM) rather than a traditional drive-thru window. See Drive-Thru ITMs for more.

Drive-Thru ITMs

Our Owasso and South Memorial Branches are equipped with drive-thru Interactive Teller Machines (ITMs) which can function like a standard ATM with added ability to video chat with a live teller. When you approach the ITM, you’ll be given the option to choose live video or simply insert your card for standard ATM services. ITMs can also dispense cash in exact amounts instead of the standard $20 denominations.

When you approach an ITM, you will see this screen with options to connect with a live teller or insert your card to use it like a standard ATM.

Reasor’s In-Store Branches Now ATM/ITM Only

Our in-store Reasor’s branches are moving to ATM/ITM services only until further notice because limiting contact in the smaller spaces is more difficult. Please explore our Online Banking, external ATMs, or Drive-Thru branch service options for more ways to bank during this time.

Current Loans in Progress

If you are in the process of closing a loan with Tulsa FCU and will need to sign documents in person, please reach out to your Tulsa FCU contact who has been working to make arrangements to schedule the signing. We will be able to make special accommodations to allow you to sign with minimal person-to-person contact.

Operational Measures

At this time we are monitoring the Center for Disease Control and Prevention’s (CDC) Interim Guidance for Businesses and Employers which includes things like practicing social distancing, frequent hand washing, routine environmental cleaning, and actively encouraging sick employees to stay home.

Bank without Visiting a Branch

We continue to encourage members to use Tulsa FCU Online & Mobile banking*, ATMs, or the Drive-Thru rather than visiting a branch in person. Because of our temporary policy changes, most all your banking needs can now be handled without a branch visit.

Keep Your Information Safe

Remember, we will only contact you via the phone in response to being contacted by you first. Scammers often take advantage of people in difficult situations, and these times are no different. We will never reach out to you unprompted asking for confidential information such as your name, password, personal identification number (PIN), or other account information.
